Two weeks ago a I went to Centro Cultural Recoleta and the happening Onedotzero to look for some short film using new technology. I found a lot of them; experimental, animations, musicvideos and documentaries. A typical experience looking at many of these films was how they used technology to challenge the normative way of looking at, and experience, the physical reality. Fascinating renewing citysymphonies and other films showed me that infrastructures can make connections between sea and heaven, and that both human beings and nature can move more freely between the two dimensions.
Today I went to Ciudad Cultural Konex and experienced the Brenda Angiel Aerial Dance Company who was challenging the same dimensions. I was again given some new viewing positions on reality, but this time the physical body still existed almost symbiotically connected to digital animations and lightening effects .
